the point of no return.
The concept of “burn the boats” traces back to Hernan Cortes, a Spanish conquistador that in 1519, led a large expedition to Mexico. The goal was to capture significant treasure said to be there. Upon arrival, Cortes told his men to BURN THE BOATS. In essence, there was no turning back.. they will either win or perish. Within two years, they succeeded in their conquest of the Aztec empire.
That dream on your heart? Listen to it. Believe in yourself. Keep fighting for it. Keep working for it. There’s no looking back, there’s only succeeding… BURN THE BOATS!
