As most of you already know, I’m super passionate about nontoxic living, wellness, and supporting our bodies the best ways we can! I went from being the girl who only took a packet of Emergen-C when she was feeling yucky, to having a cabinet full of supplements to reach for and a solid, consistent routine of supplements I take every single day!

These supplements have completely changed my health game, and helped me feel and function my very best! I feel like that’s something we all deserve to feel at every age! I’m not a medical professional or here to give medical advice, but I am here to share that these supplements have truly changed the way I feel – from energy levels to hair & nail growth, normal digestion, immune support, muscle recovery – the list literally goes on and on!

Quick Tip: Do Your Research

It’s unfortunate, but the reality is, we just don’t get the right vitamins, minerals, and nutrients in our everyday diet. Supplementation is a great way to get those key nutrients into your body, but it’s important to choose whole-food & high-quality sources! It’s estimated that there are nearly 90,0000 dietary supplement products on the market today.

The scary reality regarding all of those supplements is that Federal law doesn’t require them to be proven safe to FDA’s standards before they are marketed. The law doesn’t require the manufacturer to prove any of their claims accurate or truthful – meaning the entire label can be a big, old lie.

This means finding the right supplement & an honest company is extra important!

bioavalibility: what does it mean?

In today’s world, our grocery store shelves are full of supplements… but a large majority of them just get flushed down the toilet because they are full of synthetics.

Bioavailability is the absorption & distribution of nutrients from a supplement — aka the act of something going into your body and your body actually using it.

Most over the counter supplements are synthetically made and therefore, our bodies don’t absorb them properly because they are missing key nutrients that balance and help absorption. Our bodies literally don’t know what to do with it!

Make sure to do your research and know where your supplements are derived from — it truly matters!

Antioxidants are super important in the fast-paced world we live in – they help fight free radicals, which in excess, can lead to oxidative stress, inflammation, sickness, and disease. Ningxia Red supports energy levels, normal cellular function, whole-body and normal eye health, and digestion.

A daily shot of 2-4 oz. can help support your overall wellness! I think it’s best served chilled – so keep your bottle or packets in the fridge & shake well before each use. You can also add it to sparkling water + a drop or two of your favorite vitality oil for an afternoon pick me up!

2. Mineral Essence

Ionic Mineral Complex | 2 droppers in the morning with Ningxia Red

When we are mineral deficient, our bodies go haywire and aren’t able to properly function. And without minerals, vitamins can’t be properly absorbed by the body. According to two-time Nobel Prize winner Linus Pauling, PhD, “You can trace every sickness, every disease, and every ailment to a mineral deficiency.”

Mineral essence is a balanced, ionic mineral complex with more than 60 different, vital minerals! It contains magnesium to support bone formation, chloride which supports blood pressure, sodium which maintains the balance of water and minerals, honey which is an antioxidant, royal jelly produced by honey bees which is a source of B vitamins and 50+ vitamins and minerals.

This blend also contains Lemon, Cinnamon Bark, and Peppermint essential oils – which increase the bioavailability of minerals along with supporting your immune system, digestion, and energy.

Just a heads up – this one doesn’t taste very good! So I like to add two droppers in my Ningxia Red + shoot it down in the morning!

3. Super D

We think of Vitamin D as “the sunshine vitamin,” but did you know nearly 50% of adults in the U.S. are Vitamin D deficient? Some people may experience severe fatigue + low mood when not getting sufficient Vitamin D.

Super D is plant-based and vegan-friendly, & contains 250% of your daily value of Vitamin D. I take two chewable tablets before bed every night. Let this one dissolve for 5-10 seconds under your tongue, and then chew!

4. Multigreens

Leafy Green Supplement | 2-3 capsules in a fruit smoothie or before a meal

I don’t know about you, but I could use allll the help getting a sufficient amount of greens on a daily basis – because I’m not the best at eating them with every meal! 

 Multigreens is your easy button for getting your daily source of greens!

 It contains spirulina, alfalfa sprouts, barley grass, eleuthero root, bee pollen, barley, pacific kelp, + essential oils that help boost vitality by supporting healthy cell function, memory, mood, and other nervous system functions.

 The bioactive sea veggies increase vitality, the choline helps with our body’s energy production, bee pollen is loaded with nutrients like calcium, potassium, magnesium, zinc, + B vitamins. It has Rosemary, Lemon, and Lemongrass essential oils for immune/digestive support, plus Melissa oil for inflammation!

It’s best taken an hour before meals – the recommended dose is 3 capsules, two times daily. I love breaking open + adding a couple capsules to my fruit smoothies too!

5. Sulfurzyme

MSM Supplement aka Hair, Skin, & Nails | Mix 1/2 tsp with juice, water, or Ningxia Red twice daily

Sulfurzyme is one of my fav, must have supplements! It contains MSM which protects + replenishes cells to support joint pain, reduce inflammation, speed up post-exercise recovery, strengthen hair and nails, improve skin complexion, and help detox the body.

It also contains Ningxia wolfberry fruit – which is a prebiotic that supports gut health, increases the bioavailability of MSM, and supports our immune system.

It comes in a capsule and powder form. The powder form also contains FOC which is a prebiotic that feeds the good flora in your gut! There are so many amazing testimonies surrounding this supplement – and I have personally seen such a difference in my hair + nails since using this supplement consistently (oh hey, new baby hairs + nail growth!!)

Take up to 2 capsules, three times daily in between meals or mix ½ tsp with juice or water and drink twice daily. It’s super yummy in your Ningxia Red too!
